About the event
The 2026 Tamil New Year (Sithirai Varuda Pirappu) Festival promises a grand celebration of Tamil culture, music, dance, food, and community spirit. Building on last year’s success, this year’s event will feature an expanded stage program, more performers, additional food vendors, cultural showcases, and exciting experiences for families and youth.
This large-scale community celebration brings together families, professionals, and young people from across Australia to honour Tamil heritage while creating unforgettable memories.
